We believe in the faithful stewardship of the resources with which God has blessed us. In the faithful sharing of the “first fruits” of our prayers, our presence, our gifts, our service, and our witness, the work and ministry of His church will be enriched and His name will be glorified.
We believe in the necessity of prayer as the starting point of our journey of faith as individuals and as the Church. Through public and private prayer, we realize the privilege of sharing intimate communion with God in which we speak the desires of our heart for ourselves and in intercession for others, and have the opportunity to discern God’s will for us personally and for His church.
We believe in evangelism and social action as the dual-edged sword of our faith that penetrates our world with the Gospel of God’s love. Through evangelism, we have the opportunity to reach the lost for Christ with the story of His love and saving grace. Through social action, we have the opportunity to follow the example of Christ, using our spiritual giftedness as we share His love and compassion in addressing the needs of broken, hurting people in our church family, our community, and the world in which we live.
We believe in worship as the private and public settings in which we offer adoration and praise in acknowledgement of who God is and what He has done for us, we confess our sins against God and one another, we offer thanksgiving for God’s faithfulness to us and the blessings He shares, we are strengthened in our faith in the hearing of God’s inerrant Word as it is read and proclaimed, and we dedicate ourselves anew to God’s will for our lives and the service of His kingdom.
